A Grand Opening to Remember
On April 4th, we flung open the doors to Weevil Gear & Beer, our very first retail home base just outside Pisgah Forest—and wow, did the Brevard community show up! With support from the Chamber of Commerce and the Transylvania County Tourism Development Authority (Explore Brevard), plus the Pisgah Conservancy, this was a true community celebration from start to finish. For Weevil Founder, Josh Gaura, this was a dream come true!

We proudly showcased our own line of Weevil Outdoor gear—built tough, tested locally, and designed to keep you comfortable on every climb, descent, and trail stop in between. And with the launch of our Gear That Gives™ program, every purchase helps protect the trails we love through the Pisgah Conservancy.
Eight Drafts & Endless Options
The bar was buzzing with eight craft beers on tap, each poured from custom Industry Nine hub tap handles. Beyond beer, we’re stocked with canned wine, cider, sake, seltzers, hemp drinks, and a full lineup of non-alcoholic options. Plus, to-go beer and wine for your next adventure.
Two Beer Gardens, One Vibe
Guests spread out between our front garden with rocking chairs and fire pits and the back garden with picnic tables and the WeeeVillage (kid zone)—a space for families, friends, and neighbors to connect under the open sky.
Upstairs Loft Hangout
The loft quickly became a favorite—foosball, shuffleboard, games, and cozy nooks for private parties or even sneaking in some laptop time before a ride.

From day one, our mission has been clear: build a space where outdoor adventure and community come together. Seeing so many faces—riders, families, neighbors—filling the Weevil Gear & Beer for our opening reminded us why we do what we do.
