Gear recommendations for rides:

All trips are guided, but self-supported rides, so you need to bring the basics, e.g., water, food, and bike repair basics. Our lead rider always carries additional repair gear, first aid and food should riders need support.

WHAT ARE PISGAH AND DUPONT RIDES LIKE?

Our Pisgah and Dupont rides offer terrain for all levels of riders. We can plan a trip according to all skill levels, be it advanced, or if you are new to biking altogether. We will cater each mountain biking trip to your individual, or group skill level and requested terrain; however, we do recommend certain skill levels for some of our more difficult terrain.

 

CANCELLATIONS

Please contact us ahead time. We ask for 24 hours notice for all cancelations. We will be more than happy to reschedule your adventure as we know things come up.

 

SAFETY AND REQUIREMENTS

Helmet, closed toed shoes (preferably MTB) and hydration are required on all rides.Gloves and additional pads are not required, but are recommended.

PLEASE NOTE

We recommend our groups who are booking their adventure to have a similar skill levels, to increase the fun factor for everyone.  

We are currently offering 1/2-day single track rides with lots of variety and super fun descents. Some of our rides are more challenging than others on both the climb and the descent. All routes are chosen by you and your group based on your experience and your guide’s advice. Rides offered are in the Pisgah National Forest and in Dupont State Recreational Forest areas. 

 

REFUND POLICY

We offer a full credit for any cancelation, but we do not offer refunds once the adventure is booked.

 All riders must complete our general liability form prior to riding.

Guide Bio

Our Lead Guide, Will can be found any given day exploring the trails of Pisgah. He is a North Carolina Native with a passion for the outdoors and has logged 1000's of miles on foot and his bike. He is Wilderness First Aid Trained and Red Cross First Aid/CPR Certified.
Will also has experience as a bike mechanic and will do what it takes to keep you rolling if you break down.
